One-to-One Spanish language tuition is the ultimate course for making maximum progress during a short period of time.

This is a highly Spanish intensive course which is 100% focused on your Spanish language requirements and designed by your teachers to match your specific needs. This is the most flexible and personal course available. You can choose to study 15, 20 or 30 lessons per week.

You can combine One-to-One tuition with a group course. This gives you the advantage of the interaction of a group in the morning and individually tailored tuition in the afternoon. You can choose to take 10 or 20 lessons after your group course. This is a great way of accelerating your progress. This option is available at Alhambra Schools.

Individual Spanish courses are offered at all levels, from Beginners to Advanced throughout the year. These courses are designed for students who wish to make the maximum progress in the shortest possible time and designed to meet the needs and objectives of the individual student. Students wishing to do this course should send a completed Needs Analysis Form to us in advance to help us prepare the most effective course for your language requirements.

Clear, systematic programmes
We know that time is precious! Each General Spanish lesson is carefully structured to give you practice in all communication skills, including speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Spanish for Professionals and Executive èople.

Fast-moving and dynamic
All of our Spanish courses are clearly designed with structured lessons and specific objectives. You will have regular homework which is carefully marked by your teacher and returned to you promptly. Your Spanish language is reviewed and recycled regularly, but we will never waste your time repeating the same lessons or the same books.

Learn the language you need
Often you can express yourself in basic Spanish, but you would like to use more natural, richer, native-speaker language. During your lesson your teacher is always attentive to notice, as you speak, the language that you need and will teach you this immediately, writing lesson notes for you to take home and review. We call this reformulation: helping you to put your ideas into the best Spanish.

Your mistakes corrected
Making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language, but sometimes you need a teacher to tell you where you're going wrong. Our teachers are careful to 'tidy up' your language, helping you speak more accurately and with greater confidence. You might be surprised at how quickly you can improve!

Focus on conversation and pronunciation
Our pronunciation lessons focus on the features of spoken Spanish that are the most challenging, such as linking, sentence stress, intonation. With our direct teaching approach, your teacher can listen closely to how you speak and give you help where you most need it. What's more, pronunciation lessons are recorded on a home study Mp3 or Ipod device, so that you can practise and review between lessons.

Lesson management
At One to One Spanish, it's mainly your teacher that you speak with in class, not just other classmates, and our teachers are highly skilled at effective lesson management. In speaking classes, this means that you always have plenty to talk about and discuss, and you will be able to keep talking throughout your conversation lesson. That's the best way to practise your language skills and activate your vocabulary.

Relax!
It's often hard to speak out in large groups of strangers. That way you can relax, you have time to say what you want, your teacher will listen to you and help you. There's no pressure. When you enjoy studying, you learn much better.
